Originally we had planned on staying at the Admiral hotel in Bergen for 2 nights. The Admiral is an average hotel and decided to move to a different hotel. The staff in the lobby at the Admiral recommended the Solstrand Hotel. What a GREAT recommendation.
We paid 2100 NOK per night for 2 adulst in a Junior suite with half board /9breakfast and dinner included). The food is extraordinary. You can borrow a row boat and row to the nearby islands. The SPA is free (hamam, jakusi, sauna etc). kids are welcome in all areas which is nice if you come with your children.
I highy recommend this place. more
