Very sad and cold room. Not very clean bathroom, worn. Also warn in halls and common areas. Ok - but not cheap - trout dinner. Not to be repeated.

Thon Hotel Hallingdal is situated in Al, halfway between Gol and Geilo. The majestetic mountains around Al create a special athmosphere. Nothing special about anything here but the worst was the food. We bought meals included and at the other 6 hotels we stayed at In Norwayincluding 2 other Thon hotels, the food was great. Here the dinner was disgusting. Chicken, rice, tortillas, with a sauce plus Canned pudding And jello.

The Reception and the Bar had the same person in charge, that means on several occations the reception was empty, it was very seldom you could just go to the reception and talk to them, you always had to call the bell and wait.
