As many others have said before me....a beautiful hotel run by great hosts. It's true it's a long way from the harbour but it's part of the fun, wandering through the narrow streets of Hydra Town, taking a different route each time, discovering something new......it's also away from the harbour and noise and therefore beautifully peaceful. The only noise the sound of donkeys clip clopping up the street.
The verandah and terrace (particularly from the upper floor) offer spectacular views over the town and sea and every night Brett and Alex put out little lanterns on all the tables adding a glow to the whole place.
The rooms are small but perfectly adequate for a climate where you want to spend as much time as possible outdoors. Bathrooms are new and showers great. Rooms spotless.
Breakfast - the best greek yoghurt you will ever taste - I would go back just for that yoghurt. A good choice of breads, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, tea and a little something...
