I cant say enough about the two guys running the show here. Ilyan and Jorge are simply flawless. The rooms are great, the view is awesome. Breakfast is amazing! The view is unbeatable! I prefer this location to Fira/Oia because it gets you away from the 6-10,000 cruise ship cronies. Laptops in the room were a nice touch.

We opted for Avant Garde based on its fun design and views of the Caldera. Whilst the modern feel has its limits (don't expect a levitating bed), the hotel manages not to feel tacky, which is a common downfall of these types of hotels.
