The Hotel grounds are beautiful. There are so many wonderful hot springs on the property. The stone/tiles on the pool bottoms can be rough on the feet and some of the hot springs are well super HOT. The Baldi is a great hotel and resort. It is close to the Arenal Volcano. They have 25 natural mineral pure water, with differente temperatures. You can swim at night! nice room with a good a/c and television for the kids. The kids enjoyed the water slides and all the hot springs. The food at the restaurants in the hotel were very pricey for the quality. you would do well to go 4km to la fortuna and eat with the locals.

We just returned from Costa Rica and spent 4 nights at Baldi Hot Springs Hotel. The room was average, but we had a great view of Arenal from our balcony (when it wasn't clouded over).
