We stayed at the Chocalinho at the end of our two-week-holiday in Portugal. The whole time the temperature was above 30 C degrees and cool rooms at the quinta were like heaven. At the Chcalhinho you have everything you can dream of for a perfect "dolce far niente": spotless clean rooms: a big, comfortable bed, beautiful furniture, elegant bathroom and on top of that a basket of fresh fruit every day. Every morning there are fresh, local products for opulent breakfast. Large living room with IT corner, DVD corner, library wait for the guests who want hide from the heat during the day or in the evening. Salt water pool on the premises or Altlantic coast beaches 20 minutes by car away. But best of all are the owners: Margarita and Louis, who are like long not seen family, they receive you with open arms and all the information and tips, you may need during your stay.
