This is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the sun - there is something for everyone. The lifeguarded pool is big enough for a descent swim and with a children's pool and plenty of sun beds. The apartment we stayed in was 5 minutes walk from the lake with its watersports, and 15 minutes walk to the sea (5minutes of which is across the wooden bridge over the Ria Formosa Estuary). There is a concession area on the beach which is quiet - on windy days it can be a bit cool but the sea is great for waves when it is windy.
We had easy access to the driving range and golf courses and hired bikes through the reception to look a bit further afied along the nature reserve.
V.V. has its own tennis courts (play before it gets too hot though!) but if you want a sociable game you can go up to the tennis centre at roundabout 4
I would not hesitate recommending Victory Village to anyone wanting a peaceful family holiday - we go every year!
