Stayed here in early Feb (09) for a Birdwatching trip, rented a double room, and found it to be quite enjoyable. Nice food, dining/living room, private balcony, great landscape room view. Incredible stay in the Pousada de Vale do Gaio... The hotel was renewed and it's so beautiful... The rooms are spacious and very nice (not renewed yet). The swimming pool and gardens are also beautiful... The food, for those who love to eat, it's one of the best places ever, for eating... Typical food of Alentejo, but so well done... more
It's a beautiful place, everything is calm here. The food is excelent. My room was very spacious and had everything needed. The best part about the pousada is really beeing in such a calm place.
