Authentic design, very quiet location, close to the airport. wonderful pool area, with sauna and hot whirpool. Funchal is just 15 minutes driving. The hotel staff speak good English. Breakfast is basic but good. This hotel is great for families, and also for honeymooners. It is very quiet.

Just back from a week's all inclusive stay, with mixed feelings. Generally good value for money, with meals from the self service buffet being tasty and generous - nothing to stop you going back for seconds, or even thirds!
