The Pousada in Alijo is a typical 4 star chain hotel mostly geared to business travellers. It was quite clean and comfortable, but rather soulless. To us it lacked the personal touch that we have so much appreciated in other hotels in Portugal. The staff seemed relatively inexperienced, but did their best. more
