The apartment block consists of varying sized apartments, allowing flexible booking arrangements for families. If we had the teenagers with us, we would have booked two studios. As we were a couple on our own, out of season, we "treated ourselves" to an apartment with a double bedroom. The web site is very good, with accurate photos and descriptions. It is all as lovely and scenic as it looks!
It is up an incline from the main square, but again, this is not hidden in the description. There is also a short cut to the beach which is only a few minutes walk.

Following the collapse of XL/Kosmar, we needed to book independantly to visit friends in the area of Kalives.
We had been to the area several times before and know Kalives well, but had been cosseted with flights and transfers from Chania before.
