Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent a week here early September. The room was pleasant enough, looking over the pool. Air-conditioning was 8 euro a night and was superb. The bathroom was dated; the shower screen needed a really good clean which was at odds with the rest of the room which was cleaned on a regular basis. Unfortunately the beds were rock hard. I was really struggling with back ache after a couple of nights and as a result had some really poor sleeps. Breakfast was basic and wasn't very quickly replenished. Often we would get down and the plates containing the cheese and ham were empty. There were cold scrambled eggs most days. The owners were friendly enough and were always around. I don't think we would stay again.

Had a perfectly relaxing holiday at this lovely, small & friendly hotel. The pool area ,rooms, and grounds are well maintained & spotless. The pool bar is nice & the snacks & main meals reasonable & freshly cooked. The rooms are spacious with fridge & kettle & balcony. The balconies are not the most private but as we got to know most of the guests staying there by the end of the week due to breakfasting & sunbathing with them it didnt seem to matter. Short walk to the beach, a few little supermarkets, with friendly staff (Hi Anthony!)& ( kittens)restaurants & happy hour Cocktails where the transfer coach drops Jet2 passengers off. Palace perfect!

First time here, from the out side looked modern and the pool area looked so relaxing and a great area to get a tan. Family run business who are amazing and will do anything to help you, very accommodating for the children when it comes to food, according to my 7yo best egg and chips. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for your stay and cleaned daily. Need a milkshake? Get one here, the ice cream is homemade and tastes amazing. The little dog has a friend for a lifetime and wanted to take him home. Looking forward to returning 😀

Having stayed at the Plaza Palace several times the welcome has not changed, the family are always genuinely delighted to see you. The hotel is very well run, with the pool area, bar, breakfast area, and rooms cleaned to a good standard. As previously stated the hotel attracts many returns holiday makers, a fact that cannot be overstated. If you are looking for a hotel with a good pool, nice bar and 5 minute stroll from the beach in Anaxos, then I feel this hotel should be high on your consideration list.

We loved our stay at the Plaza Palace and could see why most of the guests are return visitors! Everywhere was lovely and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample - a great start to the day. Food and drinks from the pool bar were also nice. We spent plenty of time around the pool and also at the beach which is just a short stroll away. The resort is only small so everything you need is walkable and on the doorstep. It was easy to get the bus to Molyvos and back. We also had a lovely evening at the small village above Anaxos which was recommended by another guest. Would definitely return to the Plaza Palace for another relaxing week in the sun!

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. The hotel is generally well looked after. We went the jubilee bank holiday weekend and there were only 3 or 4 rooms occupied so it was very quiet. It did pick up later on in the first week. The pool area is well kept and the water is kept clean too. The bar prices haven't increased on previous years. My only negative is that the bar closed early evening so you couldn't have a night cap if you wanted to.
