If you want a dorm like hotel with less than tasty food, tiny rooms, old/dirty furniture and dirty carpets then this place is for you. The shower has a little vent which when opened you can not only see pipes in the wall but the other shower in the room next door. I heard from several folks that their water... More

This hotel is NOT convenient to Athens Airport. They will make you believe it is. Try 60 euros and 50 minutes away in a taxi. It is much farther away than they will tell you. DO NOT TRUST THEM. My wife and I paid dearly for this by having to spend the brief night in the airport. We simply did... More

We stayed at the Atttica beach hotel one night before leaving Greece - it's conveniently 40 minutes from the airport on the seafront in Mati. The hosts at the reception desk were friendly providing extra pillows on request - WiFi in the rooms is free Big + the pool is sheltered from the East wind - It caters for tour... More

We booked just one night in the hotel as we were worried we may be stranded in the islands and miss our flight home as there was a general strike in Athens so we travelled to Rafina and took a taxi which cost 7 euros. The hotel is a little faded in places but our room on the third floor... More

Let me put it this way. We were born in the seventies, but when we stayed in this hotel it felt like we were back in the sixties. We are from Spain and we remember that beach hotels looked exactly like this when we were little kids. This hotel needs a complete renovation urgently and it's dirty. Apart from that,... More

We stayed in Mati at the Hotel Attica Beach for one night on our way from Delphi to an early next morning flight from Athens to Crete. We didn't arrive at the hotel until around 6:00 at night, and therefore weren't looking to do too much at the hotel or in the town before flying out the next morning. This... More

We're a family that returned to the mainland after 2 weeks at 4 islands and decided to spend our last night near Rafina so took highspeed catamaran to there, thought it would be nicer than Piraeus port and a bit more handy for the airport. In our two-roomed suite, having soft carpet under foot for the first time since leaving... More

The Attica Beach Hotel is situated at Mati, about 5km from Rafina, the port town that provides easy access to some of the Cyclades islands - such as Tinos and Mykonos. The Hotel itself is a 30 euro taxi ride from Athens International Airport, so it can provide an alternative stopover hotel for island hoppers who don't want to endure... More
