Have stayed here a couple of times and will likely return. I dislike the naff pseudo posh of Noosa itself so Noosaville which is a 5 minute bus ride down the road is much better for a base for the Sunshine Coast. A great resort when travelling with kids. Wonderful location - opposite nice stretch of the Noosa river. Easy walking distance to supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants. The Islander Resort is a fantastic place for families. The complex is ideally situated on Gympie Terrace opposite the river and it is surrounded by lovely shops,cafes and restaurants. Ideal location, opposite the water where you can hire boats, jet ski's etc and amongst lots of restaurants. Friendly staff & really helpful making any arrangements. Fantastic facilities, plenty of room & clean. Would definitely stay there again. more
