I feel like the resorts lack of being prepared was an inconvenience for them when we raised the issues. We couldn’t use one of the bathrooms for 3or 4 days because the washing machine had stale dirty water which gave off a foul odour, if we opened the door it went through the whole apartment, nothing was done for this period. We had to get our own bathroom towels as the room wasn’t fully serviced before we got access. When calling the site contacts we were regularly advised that it wasn’t their day on and someone would eventually contact us. The pool edges have mould all the way around. We were told check in was 3pm when the booking told us 2pm.

The worst hotel management I have ever had to deal with. My partner’s mother was rushed to the hospital due to a heart failure so we needed to cancel our trip. However, after multiple attempts to negotiate with the hotel management to allow us to cancel or defer our booking, the answer was still No. I thought a 4-star hotel could do better than this. I personally never wrote bad reviews publicly but this was nasty how they treated me. I recommend you all stay away from this hotel because reception and management are basically non-existent.

This was a return visit for us and we can highly recommend the resort. The apartments are very large and spacious and well fitted out. Positioning is perfect and only a minutes walk to the river and cafes. Bedding including a very comfortable king in the master is a plus. A notable mention is the pool which is a great size, heated and was quiet during our stay. The management were extremely friendly and check in was a breeze and they were kind enough to allow a late check out on the Monday of our departure. If there is a slight negative, it is the design of the main bedroom which has louvred doors to the main living area so if you're staying with others it can be hard to block any noise. Definitely a great holiday option and very competitively priced.

Stayed with my 13 year old son. Nice apartment with everything you need. Unfortunately, several families with very young children staying together and have taken over the pool and BBQ area for our entire stay making it very intimidating for my son or myself to use the pool, spa or BBQ area. Lesson learnt, will never holiday during Australian school holidays again. Would definitely recommend, but not for a relaxing especially during school holidays.

Very large, open, clean apartment. Very comfortable queen size bed, and two singles in 2nd bedroom (unused). Two late bathrooms - great hot water and pressure. Kitchen with everything you’d need to self cater / cook (we did twice). Woolworths very close (two block). We had south facing, so limited Sun on balcony, but that was ok. Pool was large, clean and actually swimmable in August, not heated, but gets Sun most of day. We did use the spa to warm up, and also the barbecue facilities. Plenty of parking if you have a car. Loved this space and would come back. A 2min walk to the local buses, which take you 10mins to Hastings st in Noosa, or the cinemas in Noosa Heads (10mins) if that’s your thing, but so many restaurants and cafes in Noosaville, you need a GO card for the buses, but you can get these from convenience stores in Noosaville - NONE in Hastings st area.…

Recently completed a three week stay and would suggest that a 4.5 star rating is particularly generous ! Perhaps 3.5 stars would be more appropriate. I would point out to any visitors looking to stay at this venue in the winter months … stay well clear of the units on the Gympie Terrace side. Given there is another property next door and immediately adjacent to where our unit was situated, this of course meant that it blocked out the sun at all times !! and made for a very chilly unit of an evening. Other family members stayed on the other side of the property and were drenched with glorious sun all day. What added to the chill factor in my bedroom were the plantation shutters ( with no window in front ) which of course increased the chill factor overnight. The other factor to consider is the noise. Other guests above our unit were at times, late at night forgetting that there were other guests in the units below. We were surprised with the noise throughout out the complex and clearly proper quality soundproofing was not a consideration at time of construction. Perhaps we have been spoilt as in many previous trips we have stayed in stand alone apartments on Gympie Terrace ….. Montpellier is a family destination with a beautiful pool but not a spot for a quite relaxing holiday.…

This beautiful little resort, total of 16 units, is perfectly positioned in Noosaville. Close to all amenities, attractions and a short walk to some great restaurants. We stayed 2 nights and found our unit very clean and has everything you need for either a short or long stay. The kitchen is well appointed, smart tv, Bose sound system and a funky balcony located between the entrance and your unit. Even has secure off street parking. We will definitely be back for more rest and relaxation.

The apartment was so clean and new and it had everything what you need: kitchen with all the cooking tools, aircon, nice terrace, washing machine and dryer,…the location is in a nice and quiet area, close to the supermarkets. The pool is also very nice and you can also park in there. I would come back for sure!!

My wife and I stayed for three nights (July & August) and had an absolutely wonderful and peaceful time. The booking and check-in process was straightforward and the reception staff professional, courteous and easy to interact with. We stayed in Unit 7 which was super clean, modern, spacious including quite a large balcony. This unit contains all the requirements you would need for an extended holiday and is nice and bright with plenty of airflow. The ensuite and main bathroom is spacious and well maintained. We found the location to be ideal - off Gympie Terrace, James Street appears to a quiet street and the distance from the resort the main shopping and eating areas is well within walking distance. Overall a well maintained and managed resort which will have this couple returning on a regular basis.…

This is our third stay at Montpellier, we’ve been coming to Noosa for 10 years, and won’t stay anywhere else now. Why? The staff are so friendly and nothings too much. Lanie is great to deal with making bookings simple and stress free. Other guests always very respectful with noise and great to chat with around the pool. The overall cleanliness of the units and grounds is exceptional. Andrew keeps that perfect pool pristine! During our stay the actual car park and paths were being pressured cleaned! We won’t stop coming here while Lanie and Andrew are in charge.
