We spent a couple of days here. The view from the balcony is the most impressive I'd seen in Panama. We saw a variety of birds when we were out walking and a crocodile down by the lake. The rooms were good and we enjoyed the rainforest experience. They offer several activities each day which make the days quite interesting.... More

The building was built in the same style as the Americans used when it was a recreational area for Americans. There appears to be three different sections; built at different times. Our first room was in the middle section by age. It was very large with a nicely tiled bathroom, balcony with hammock and a view of the water. Then... More

We stayed at the Rainforest Resort for a getaway from the city and were surprised how lush the area was even in the dry season..They lost our reservation but made up for it by upgrading us to a 2-level suite!! Breakfast was amazing, but snack and drink prices were crazy expensive..We live in Panama and local beers that cost $.80-$1.00... More

The hotel is very impressive looking. I took the free night tour the hotel offered and really enjoyed that and had a great guide. They also offer free bicycle rides with helmets. The room was large and had a hammock on the balcony. Between the dehumidifier and the air conditioner it was pretty noisy trying to sleep at night. Our dehumidifier... More

Me and my wife stayed here for a week while attending a conference. The resort is BIG. So there's lots to do all the time. Nice pool, Bike rental, jungle tours, canal tours etc.. All on site. The hotel is fairly well kept, although i did notice a few areas that needed a coat of paint and some of the... More

Older resort very nice! Beds very comfortable. Free Wifi in lobby would have been nice to have in room. The two nights we stayed were very comfortable and we went on two night (safari's) and seen some cool animals. The food was very good. Pillows were not very comfortable so asked for feather pillows the next night and they were... More

During our two day stay, there was a group of pre-teens also there. Their chaperones seemed more interested in their cell phones than the children's behavior. I was in the lobby to take advantage of the free WiFi & they were literally running in the lobby & were loud. I was surprised the desk staff wasn't concerned about the noise... More

We stayed here for 4 nights for our 40th.anniversary. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the sounds of nature. Having a room on the 4th. floor away from the pool was private and quiet. Asked for a dehumidifier and it was running when we got there. The room was comfortable. Sunrise over the river was calming as the birds starting... More

This was the last leg of our trip to Panama. We stayed two nights here before going back to the US. I'll make this short and sweet because I'm sure it will get lost in the heap of reviews. Pros 1. Beautiful lobby - enormous ceilings and intricate woodworking was really breathtaking. 2. Rooms were nice - very standard hotel... More

I can't really say I enjoyed my stay here, but it wasn't the hotel's fault. It was just way too hot for me to spend much time outdoors. Fortunately, the rooms have very good air conditioning, but the lobby, bar and beautiful outdoor restaurant have none at all. There are some overhead fans in the lobby, but they are rarely... More
