I absolutely adore the Manoir de Montflambert. I loved my recent 2-day stay here enough to immediately plan a longer return in a month. I loved it so much I'm reluctant to share my thoughts, fearing it will become so popular I'll no longer be able to get a room when I want. But I loved it and it's effervescent,... More

For our second visit to Champagne, we wanted to be in the country, preferably on a hill surrounded by nature and vineyards. Manoir de Montflambert was exactly what we sought: a beautiful home surrounded by woods, park lands, and champagne vineyards. Who could have expected this first generation champagne house to also produce one of the most expressive, well structured,... More

This huge manor house is off the beaten path about a 15 minute drive northeast of Epernay up on the mountain. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and the breakfast (included in the price) was very good. The owner was always cheerful and helpful and speaks good English. It is a very quiet location at the end of the road,... More

The service here was very warm and enthusiastic, and our host's generosity and good-will at breakfast meant a nice start to the day. Breakfast itself was lovely (not exceptional though) with a choice of cheeses, pastry and eggs done how you like. The host even let me give her my gluten-free bread to go toast in the kitchen to be... More

The Manoir Montflambert just gets better and better! We were fortunate to be one of the first visitors when the Manoir first opened for business. We were proudly shown all the charming rooms that the young and enterprising Madame had available. We were then invited to make our choice! (from cottage chintz under the eaves to the grandeur and elegance... More

Beautiful property. Family home. Suites are very large. Warn welcome. Most helpful with nearby restaurant suggestions as they do not offer dinner. Champagne from the property is great. Nice variety at breakfast. Perfect base for visiting the Champagne areas around Epernay and Reims.

Stephanie Plékhoff the young mistress of the bed and breakfast is charming and her husband Georges Lheureux is most friendly. We stayed there for four days while touring the Champagne Region and World War I and II battle sites. The rooms are very comfortable but not overwhelmingly elegant. The atmosphere is welcoming and the other guests seemed to also appreciate... More

If you're going to stay in Champagne, I suppose it makes sense to stay in a place surrounded by vines, and where they stock the minibar fridges with five bottles of their own bubbly. When my sister-in-law recommended Manoir de Montflambert we booked it, and we're glad we did. At the top of a hill just a few minutes from... More

This B & B was in a great location just about 10 minutes away from Epernay This manoir is very old and they are still doing work on it. We stayed in the Alcove Henry IV which was alright. The room was nice enough and spacious but the bed could have been a bit more comfortable. The bathroom was renovated... More

When I was planning a surprise get-away weekend to the Champagne region of France I was at first disppointed because all the B&B I had selected were completely booked. Then I found the website for the Manoir de Montflambert and called. Madame Lhereaux-Plekhoff was so friendly on the phone and I immediately felt very good about this B&B. When my... More
