We came here with friends and paid the extra for adjoining junior suites. They had four-postered beds and a gorgeous aspect over the gulf. The bathrooms may not meet the expectations of some people as they only have one sink and no shower separate from the bath. The toiletries offered have sodium sulfate laureate in them, which makes them a... More

The location of the hotel and its exterior are wonderful. Service was very good and the food excellent (but you would expect so given the price). We felt the interior, however, to be a bit tired. The tapestry in the dining room was dark and made the room feel small. Overall, found it to be on the pricey side.

Dear Client, We thank you for taking the time to write a comment about our hotel. We are delighted that you enjoyed the environment and cuisine, but regret that the classic style and authentic decoration you were not pleased. It is difficult to satisfy all tastes but we hope that you will nevertheless want to come back to visit us...... More

We spent here 3 nights and we had a wonderful stay. The staff is warm and makes you feel special. The view on the sea from our suite was delightful. Their new Chef is creative and prepares the local fishes greatly. We were not lucky with the weather but next time we shall come in summer.

Dear Clients, We wish to thank you for taking the time to write such a nice comment. We are delighted that you have appreciated our hotel, our attentions and our cuisine. However, we wish to clarify that we have not changed since Chef Patrice Caillault arrived at Domaine de Rochevilaine in 1984, for our greatest happiness as this year, his... More

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and it has been sheer bliss each time. The food is excellent, the service impeccable, the ambience relaxed. The wonderful, regionally sourced breakfasts are brought to your room (although you can have them in the restaurant if you prefer). The spa and swimming facilities are luxurious and the views... We enjoyed this hotel very much! The cuisine was outstanding and the spa was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had a terrace and view of the sea. The only negative was the smoking smell in our room from prior guests. We left windows open to air it out and that did help. Overall, this was a... More

We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary at the Domaine de Rochevilaine and had a wonderful meal. When you patronise places such as this you wonder if the product will live up to the price tag. All I can say is that on this occasion it did. From the time we arrived to the time we left the service was impeccable... More

I had high expectations of staying at this property. Part of Relais and Chateaux, together with a Michelin Star. Reception and breakfast staff were all friendly and highly competent. The basic rooms are described as 'Junior Suites' .. which they're not. They're also a little 'tired' & rather 70s or even 80s in decor. Fortunately there were no mosquitoes, so... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights last week as part of our driving holiday round Normandy and Brittany. What's good: Amazing views from the terraces, bedroom, dining room and bar.
