This restaurant is part of a most wonderful and unique Relais Chateaux hotel in the southern part of Britanny, France. We ate an excellent lunch while seated next to the bay windows overlooking the sea. Although the restaurant is very high class, there was a very informal and family-oriented atmosphere. A special children's menu was served to the 5 year... More

My Husband and I intended to stay here for 3 nights in August 2011 as part of our Honeymoon/ mini moon but left after 24 hours we were so appalled by the rudeness of the staff. To compensate us, we received a free Gin and Tonic off our bill. On arrival the grounds are impressive, but the decor inside our room... More

Having reviewed this hotel some years ago, was doubtful about returning.but, the lure of the seafood specialities pulled and we spent a three night stay here. The weather was not at all good for the time of year, so we were already a bit miffed! However, this time we made good use of the indoor heated pool, and sauna facilities... More

We stayed two nights and greatly enjoyed the whole ambience of Domaine de Rochevilaine. Our room was attractive with balcony over sea and rocks. We dined both nights and particularly enjoyed seafood, fish and wonderful cheeses .We preferred the main dining room which had softer lighting than the blue dining room but both have great sea views. The spa is large... More

A surprising variety of rooms within traditional and modern buildings and all maintained to a high standard with a super restaurant. The cheaper rooms are in the modern spar complex with the very large pool and judging by the number of Parisien number plates is very popular for visits at the weekend . It is a very enjoyable well presented... More

We booked this hotel through Brittany Ferries, which seems to have been a very good deal and included a 4 course meal each night. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of October. The room we had was very comfortable. We could see the sea, although we were not facing it, and looked out over well kept gardens. Our... More

To celebrate my wife’s birthday I booked a week-end break at the Domaine de Rochevilaine Hotel, one of the Relais and Chateaux Chain of hotels, usually a guarantee of quality. Budget : 700 Euros for one night including breakfast and evening meal for 2. At this price one would expect to have a good time. Tne Junior suite we were... More

The hotel surroundings are beautiful, the location is unique. However, I was a bit disapppointed when we were shown the room. We had a reservation for a duplex as we wanted some additionnal space. We expected a living area downstairs and a bedroom upstairs. In fact it was a kind of family accomodation, with two bedrooms but not a single... More

My wife and I splurged for our 45th anniversary and were not disappointed by this marvelous hotel. The setting is incredible and our suite overlooked the water. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The public rooms, along with the restaurant, are oriented toward the water and take great advantage of marvelous vistas. There is an outdoor dining/cocktail area... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2nights (8/9 July) on our way to Biarritz. We didn't have any problems with bugs etc but we had an ocean facing room which could have been the reason. I have split our review into 2 parts.....the Good Points and Not So Good Points. Good Points The hotel design is definitely... More
