L'Arc en Ciel is a bit of heaven on earth! We stayed here for 2 blissfully happy days in July 2008. It is the most peaceful of rural locations and the hosts,Linda and Arthur, are that rare find: two people whose main concern is that you truly enjoy your experience. The detached accommodation within their beautiful grounds is tastefully decorated and wonderfully comfortable. There are lovely walks and drives around the area; we chose to take a tranquil 25-minute walk through leafy lanes to a nearby village for dinner on the first evening which was lovely. Even more wonderful was experiencing Linda and Arthur's vegetarian cooking on our second evening! I have been veggie for more than 25 years and can not remember ever enjoying a meal more. My husband is not vegetarian but he said it would be worth becoming one if he could always have food like that!
