We stayed in the Le Maison de Marie which was an absolute joy. We were there with our 3 young children (9, 2 & 1). The cottage was brilliantly finished with little touches that brought out the character of the French countryside. The cottage, owned by Liz & Corentin Lamour, is located on a family farm along with 3 other holiday cottages. The kitchen contains all the modern facilities of cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave. It is very well kept and spotlessly clean.
We took the Cork-Roscoff ferry and is only about 1hr to Plelo from Roscoff. Plelo is located only a few kilometres from the Motorway so travelling around was easy. The cottages themselves are well in from the road so are safe & quiet. St. Brieuc is only a couple of minutes down the motorway and has pretty much anything you want.
Other attractions we visited were St. Malo, Zoo Park in Tregomeur, Binic, Oceanopolis Aquarium in Brest & Ile-de-Brehat.
