This is a great place to stay for a few days, either doing nothing and lounging in a hammock while enjoying the spectacular views over Lake Malawi or going for long walks around Livingstonia and the mountains. If you bring a tent it's very cheap, and the food is delicious (especially the pancakes for breakfast).

Quite a long difficult journey, but worth it to stay at the Mushroom Farm and visit the mission at Livingstonia. Amazing location, wonderful views, and very hospitable hosts. Hot showers, solar electricity, comfortable beds, cold beer and good food.
