Wow, what a location. The suites were enormous and comfortable. The owner was very welcoming, the staff were excellent, and the food was really nice, and reasonable priced. I would recommend it to anybody. We visited the cheetah sanctuary while there. Wonderful and a priviledge to be able to walk with young orphaned cats.

We only had 3 days at Plateau but will definitely be back. The place is immaculate, staff are friendly and well trained, there is incredible attending to detail and best of all the owners are very involved in the business with the result that the experience is an unforgettable one.

Whilst impeccably clean and neat this lodge lacks in any life or charm. The architecture is odd and quite unimaginaitive, looking more like a bunker than a warm country lodge. Very difficult to find – not signposted at all from West. Excellent, once you get used to the odd setup. One other couple were there the first two nights, but otherwise we were on our own. I never write travel reviews but I just have to this time. This place is special. The setting is outstanding, the hotel luxurious, the food superb and the service is out of this world. If your are in the area or not just stay here - you would be a fool not to.
