We chanced upon this guesthouse and were very happy with our 4 nights spent there.
The guestrooms are situated on a big lot (the main home/office is separate) and are recently constructed of concrete/stucco with nice landscaping. The rooms were new, simple, spacious, clean and quiet.
Rooms included a TV and mini-fridge; it was was really great to have cold water on hand. The rooms on the corners have nice cross-breezes. And, the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the beach (a steep walk down to the beach since most of the businesses sit atop a bluff overlooking the beach). The guesthouse doesn't have a restaurant but there are plenty within easy walking distance.
It was a good value at 1000 rps per night.
Julia, the owner and her husband, were very helpful and always willing to answer Q's with a smile.
