Had an amazing time with incredible service and, unexpectedly, even better food. If you're going to Panama and particularly Boca, this place is a perfect, luxury hidden gem...and will become a hotspot so go soon! more

Popa paradise lets you enjoy the magic of island living and dining at its best, in a casual and relaxing atomspere. The managers Adam and Katie and staff went out of their way to make sure our vacation was everything we expected and more. more

Our stay at Popa Paradise was wonderful! the service is outstanding, each and everyone there is always ready to serve your every whim and they do it with a smile! The food is nothing like you have ever had in a resort, not even nicer ones - so thank you Ben for that : ) and the landscaping of the... more

My husband and I wanted something off-the-beaten path, something luxurious...yet something casual for our honeymoon. Boy did we find it ! Having been to the Bahamas, Caribbean, and the Dominican Republic several times---finding somewhere new that was affordable-enough, remote-enough, and FUN-enough warranted a lot of research.....so we started early! We were picked up up by Ben (our amazing chef) and... more

Our stay at Popa Paradise was amazing. If you are looking for a true getaway this is your place. Be outdoors and active or do nothing at all. We surfed, went to deserted beaches, went on a rainforest hike and visited a local village. You will feel at home here on this "Fantasy Island". The staff is fantastic and the... more

This is my first review. This hotel and the experiences we had on vacation, warrants me to tell everyone about it. This place is paradise! Getting there: We flew from new york. There are direct flights from New York to Panama City (Tocumen Intl. Airport) From there, you need to take a 40 minute taxi ride to Albrook Airport. Just... more

My husband, two-year old and I wrapped up a six-month adventure in Central America at Popa Paradise. It was a somewhat random series of events that landed us here, but we are so glad this beautiful resort and island crossed our path. It is one of the most amazing places in the world, rivaling our honeymoon in Fiji. We will... more

We were lucky enough to stay here after leaving a hotel in the Bocas town. We were looking to get away and have a less traditional experience and this was perfect. It's remote but offers several great opportunities such as kayaking, a gorgeous infinity pool, playing games, reading, or just hanging out on the fabulous balcony of the room and... more

We loved Popa. It was low season and quiet on the island, but we had a blast and met great people... so we never thought about sprinkles when they came. You have to try their boat drinks and ask Ben for his lemon grass mojito. The beach is awesome, white sand of shells, blue blue water, great snorkeling, kayaking ...... more

We stayed at Popa Paradise for 3 nights with our teenagers and had a wonderful time. This is an upscale resort on a remote island with no roads or infrastructure. It takes an hour to get there from Bocas Town, which is a 30 minute boat ride from the mainland. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and simply decorated. The grounds... more
