Kwando have started some "premium" chalets which are truly wonderful, but the rest of the accomodation leaves a lot to be desired. The food was great - inventive menus, beautifully served and with great service in the dining area. My main reservation was in the lack of interest in the guests shown by the management team. We had stayed at...

The location is great and convenient when travelling to or from Victoria Falls. The rooms are a bid shabby and the bed is really very soft. Open showers, lovely view from the balcony. The food is absolutely amazing, the lady chef is creative and super talented. Easily one of the best catering we've had in Namibia.
We stayed at Kwando for two nighta in January,It was blisteringly hot and the tented chalets could do with fans as it is pretty uncomfortable in the heat. The pool however was clean and cool and the camp restaurant swrved up the best dining we had on our three week trip. The food was simply fantastic, like eating in a...

We stayed in the bungalows and where pleasantly surprised. Big rooms and good quality bedding. Daily cleaning was appreciated. This place is heaven with children, as they can run around and keep themselves occupied with fishing etc. The boating excursions where informative and very little can beat the fishing
We thought this was a very good accomodation. It s so sad that this accomodation, at this very great location, is ruined by the staff and the unknown personal.
The management is one big laugh!!
They don t teach the personal nothing and drinking at the bar!!!
So unfriendly and make you feel you are not welcome.
It looks that...

The chalets themselves are fine although the closed in sides and doors allow for no air circulation at all and there were no fans or air conditioning. In the middle of the summer this makes them pretty unbearable and sleep is...

To spend a bit less, river chalets look very beautiful, right on the river...

Freezing !!!! food good -the drive thru Mamili park was expensive and really didn't see that much.
We spent an unforeseen (change of trip plan) night at this place which has a nice setting next to the river, we stayed here in our rooftop-tent, you're not directly next to the river by doing so, but more in the 'garden', we had dinner in their restaurant (quite difficult to organize as non prebooked guests + management not very...
