What a delightful little gem, full of character that evoked memories of stays in small family hotels in Europe. The staff are clearly a "family" who value the guests and were a pleasure to deal with. Both our dinner and breakfast were delicious. Definitely we would stay again.

Not informed during reservation of the pub. Kept awake till 3 am on Saturday and 2 am on Sunday due to pub activities. Reception unmanned during night. The hotel is not in a great location. The rooms are ok but the bathrooms dismal. I think one would stay here only to get the "olden days" experience. The service was quite good and we had a really nice Pizza when we ordered room service.

My husband and I had a lovely weekend away at the hotel and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The food at the hotel was delicious and I would highly recommend the breakfast. Lovely friendly staff. Thanks

Friendly staff, good food, comfortable rooms. Rooms could do with a bit of paint and new grouting in the shower but - overall - very clean and I'll easily stay there again. Good base for Midlands Meander.

We recently stayed at the Nottingham Road Hotel for one night - what a wonderful experience.
