During our recent trip to Cornwall we ate at the Paris Hotel and what a gem it turned out to be. The food was very good, the staff were also good. Would definite recommend the restaurant here.
As a resident of Coverack I have enjoyed many meals in the Paris Hotel, Coverack, and have never been disappointed. On 5th April 2012 we ate in the dining area with a group of sixteen. The tapas were tasty, and the main course was excellent with plentiful, well-cooked vegetables. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was full, with...

It's all about the food, the views, the friendly staff, the sound of the waves when you're tucked up in bed, the free pool table, the wide range of tip-top booze and did I mention the incredible food?
I stayed at The Paris for three weeks while working away from home in nearby Helson. Despite running up the coast path...

Very welcoming staff who are trying really hard to please not only the tourists but also the locals. Lovely fresh food on offer as well as more standard fare such as breaded scampi. I had a crab salad made freshly for me from locally sourced crab. It was delicious, beautifully served, perfect portion size and very reasonably priced. I was...

We ate at Paris Hotel one evening when we were in the lovely Coverack. The bar area seemed quite basic but as a local pub was fine (did good beers) and the separate restaurant looked to provide a nicer area for an evening meal. Unfortunately the bar staff were not particularly helpful on how we went about ordering a food...

Large portions but expensive unwelcoming bar staff need customer friendly training
What a fantastic location to have a pub/restaurant. It is full of potential but fails to live up to the beautiful surroundings and ambience of a quiet Cornish fishing village. The food was very mediocre but the service from staff was very polite and efficient. It's just a shame you can't eat the service. It could be a great local...

We stayed over the August bank holiday weekend and the first thing that struck us was the location - absolutely stunning! Unfortunately things went downhill from there. The residents parking is very limited and we were advised to park in the municipal car park next to the pub (which is often full, so timing is of the essence). We were...

Location great. Beer very good. That's where the positives end. The room was basic. The breakfast average and the location very noisy at night. Don't expect to get to sleep before 1.00am! Such a shame for such a stunning location.
