Room is comfortable but the wifi is not strong enough unless you take your laptop close to the terminal in the reception area to get a useable signal.

We stayed in two separate rooms as they didn't have a family room available. That was fine but the rooms weren't. Mould in bathroom on ceiling and in shower. I stayed here for a night and found it very satisfactory. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff and good food in restaurant. Very nice view of Newcastle from the restaurant, especially at night. I don't know how old this place is, but it looks like it's been extensively renovated fairly reacently.
