We had a wonderful weekend at Mt Cashel. Good facilities. Quiet location. Beautiful lake. Good for fishing, walking, cycling, relaxing. Sixmilebridge at 3k for shopping etc. Limmerick at 20k to go out. Shannon airport at 20k. (Rental) car is convenient, taxi available at Sixmilebridge (also 7 seater). Very friendly owners. more

Nice, clean, comfortable cottage on a pretty lake with canoe, kayak, fishing equipment, for shared use with other guests. My husband, Mother and I stayed 4 nights at this enchanting lodge. We had the large Stables (4 bedrooms) and it was perfect. It had all the modern conveniences (very well equipped kitchen, TV, CD player, washer, separate dryer) and is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. What a wonderful retreat. The owners were so friendly and helpful. You could tell they loved sharing their property with us.
