This is a very pleasant b & b where we stayed 3 nights. The rooms are in a little 8 sided cottage which is divided into 2 rooms. They're full of character being made wih huge solid oak beams. They're well equipped with nice sanitary ware, shower, good lighting, there's a kettle and selection of teas, and the beds are comfortable The cottage is right on the edge of the wood and of the host's garden and there is a pleasant outdoor seating area for the use of the guests. Everything is done with a beautiful eye for detai and Nathalie, the hostess, is clearly a perfectionist. . The breakfast very nice, more than you get (and nicer) than in most French b & bs, with cake, home made jam and home made yogurt and (on one day) newly baked croissants. We had an evening meal one night and this was also excellent. The place was spotlessly clean and very relaxed and quiet. My only criticism is that the sound insulation is poor between the two rooms in the cottage. This didn't bother us... more
