My daughter and I had the pleasure of a two night stay at the Convict Station. It is a fabulous place to stay, with tastefully decorated, warm accommodation, friendly hosts and sensational breakfasts prepared by the hosts Lorella and Linton. Can't wait to go back! The water views over Norfolk Bay were delightful, and the authentic historical building is comfortably renovated... More

This place is wonderful. The hosts dedicated to preserving it's history and making their guests feel at home with a relaxing lounge and wood fire, comfortable beds and the lovely touch of homemade jams breads and their chickens eggs for breakfast. You can even go fishing from the jetty. Close to port Arthur and a magnificent coast line for walks.... More

We had a lovely stay at this delightful old place. Our hosts were friendly, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The location was truly picturesque. It was very nice to relax in the lounge room with a glass of port in the evening. Breakfast was basically a continental breakfast with the addition of 2 very fresh, free range... More

A wonderfully authentic piece of Australia's convict past, this has to be the perfect base if you are exploring Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. The Convict Station is a beautifully conserved sandstone building set right on the water. Mine host has a bit of character too. Genuinely helpful, great breakfast of locally sourced ingredients and even a complementary port... More

This was a great B&B that had wonderful rooms and outstanding service. Our hosts were exceptional people who made us feel very welcome. Likewise, the breakfasts were fantastic. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who travels to the Port Arthur area.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty and nothing is too much trouble. Extremely knowledgable hosts, professional, friendly and efficient. The room we had was awesome, four posted bed (Laurel Suite), plenty of room in fact. Clean and tidy and a joy to stay here. Breakfast included was delightful and spoilt for choices from home made jams,... More

We stayed in the garden room for 1 night on wed 27/3. We were looked after and our hosts happily shared their knowledge of the local area. Nothing was to much trouble and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay special. The best part was breakfast and eating the fruit fresh from the garden. Thanks for... More

Unfortunately we could only stay one night here, it ticked all the boxes. Nice clean, roomy accommodation (we stayed in the Laurel Suite) with water views. Interesting historical story to the house with plenty of character. Host were friendly and helpful but not obtrusive and breakfast was more than satisfactory, fresh bread, home made jams and softly boiled eggs.

We wished we could have stayed longer than 3 days. This beautiful historic house was very comfortable and peaceful and made a very convenient base for visiting Port Arthur and walks on the Tasman Peninsular. Lorella and Lynton were very hospitable and informative, breakfast was superb with fresh home baked bread, fruit compote and jams.

Tasman Peninsula is a beautiful part of Tasmania. Norfolk Bay Convict Station is central to Port Arthur and the many other cruises and walks in the area. The staff are oh so friendly and helpful and Lorella's preserves are a real hit. I've been there several times over the years and have always returned refreshed and amazed by the land... More
