Just arrived back from our holiday at this hotel and would comment as follows:- We agree with all the comments that the hotel is remote (you need to hire a car) and is very hard to find. No evening entertainment as described. No bus service to the nearby beach. The buffet restaurant was not open in the evenings for dinner.... more

Vale D'Ei Rei is a lovely resort. It's quiet and attracts mostly couples and families. They have shuttles to 2 nearby beaches and town, which is quite convenient. I wont repeat what everybody else has said, just add a few points: It is a bit hard to find so have a quick look on Google Maps before you go. Easiest was to way get there is to turn left at the crossroads just before Lagoa, then take the first major right. If you miss this turning, turn left... more
