over-all, we enjoyed this Marriott Vacation Club very much. I've been to two others and I liked them all. There were some issues with the property. For example, several things were broken and some lights were out. But I brought these things to the attention of management and they were taken care of. It wasn't convenient to visit Paris frequently... More

A little bit difficult to find the resort the first time as the typical Marriott Vacation Club logo is missing, On the street level one finds only Residence du Golfe. As previously said by other reviewers, not exactly the best location for sightseeing Paris unless you have a car and visit on weekends, else it takes too long to the center.... More

Stayed here on a Time Share Exchange for a visit to Paris. Not a good idea.Too much time to get in and out of Paris with/without a car.Great location though for Shopping Trip to Val d'Europe , or for a Disney Visit,or for a Golf Holiday or just R&R at a nice resort in the country.Only complaints were a "smelly"... I have been at this resort before many years ago and noted a steep decline, unfortunatly. The internet connection is expensive and very low in quality. Every charge that can be made is made, down to the shuttle service which is more than double the price of ordinary public trnasportation. The kitchen is useless (no cooking facilities, only reheating and... More

Upon arrival at a crown jewel of Marriott's collection of resorts located around the globe one might think he/she has just arrived at a Marriott property in Youngstown, Ohio. The masterful Marriott touch is in full evidence at this sprawling vacation resort east of Paris located in an area of France located near Topeka, Kansas. Not until you visit Meaux... More

normally I don't write a review unless I have something nice to say. But I do want to wave a red flag for those who this may apply to. If you rent the studio unit you need to know it is up two full flights of stairs and there is no bellman (accept in summer) to carry your luggage up... More

First off, ease your mind. Almost everyone speaks English well. I tried to speak mostly in French which was appreciated by the staff. We were given choice of rooms, ours was 4404 on the lake which was beautiful. We were told to keeps windows closed because of proximity to lake and possibility of mosquitos (which we did not encounter). The... More

We made our second visit to this resort in October. We stayed using a timeshare swap. There were two couples, so it was great to have all the space. Our townhouse had a great location with a lovely view of gardens and ponds and a short walk to the main gate and lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful.... More

Just returned from a week long stay at Marriott's d'lle de France through a timeshare swap. We were a group of 4 adults with absolutely no plans of visiting Disney and using the resort primarily as our homebase for a Paris visit. Generally speaking, we were very pleased with our unit. It was very nicely decorated and featured plenty of... More
