The staff were pleasant friendly & helpful. The apartments were well equipped & clean,the only fault was no english chanel on T V,just one would be nice.the outdoor swimming pool was a great size & there is hot tub,whirlpool & massage treaments & a fitness room indoors.
The village is peaceful it has a Spar supermarket,2 Bakeries, hairdressing salons,a dentist a chemist shop, a restaurant, a pizza takeaway,an old fashioned pup/ snack Bar & another place where the youngesters of the village seem to frequent.Ther is a 16th century R C Church Mass times @ 6pm on saturday or 11 am on Sunday the times are posted outside on the wall.There are two bus stops in the village one at the school which is just up the road from Cela Alenya,the other @ the park.The fee to Perpignan is just 1euro. The beach is about 3 miles away, Elne is a lovely town & has a Lidl it is quite close to Alenya,there are many Lidl & other supermarkets in surounding area.Colliure... more
