xcellent accommodation and hosts. Could not ask for better and was sorry to leave. Plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen, a comfy bed and a great view. Very generous breakfast provisions are a nice touch. Hopefully we will be back one day.

Beautiful place, very gracious and welcoming host, perfect location - great place as a gateway to Abel Tasman, the wineries, and the beautiful mountain this region has to offer

Where do I begin?! The accommodation is in three self-contained units jutting out over a manmade pond in a location near to Mapua but completely off the beaten track. There's a large living room/ dining area/well equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom and a lovely deck over the water. There's also a BBQ outside at the back and plenty of parking.... More

We arrived at Aporo Ponsiders after a very long journey and from the moment we arrived, we knew we were someplace special. Apart from the lovely, quiet setting, what really makes this place amazing is the hospitality of the owner Marion. She was totally prepared for our young children's arrival, providing sand pails, lifejackets, and excellent suggestions to keep them... More

We thought that we'd landed in heaven when we looked out of the large picture window and saw a mirror pond. We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our 3 week trip in New Zealand (3 nights out of a 3 week hol seems to be the norm!). Marian (one of the owners) was very welcoming and brought... More

We spent 3 nights of our 3 week vacation at this unique B&B situated over a pond. The 3 room B&B is very quiet and located in a secluded spot. Lots of natural beauty right off your deck. The innkeeper is very friendly, helpful and serves a great breakfast. Would recommend it to anyone staying near Nelson.

We were looking for an accomodation near Abel Tasman national park and booked from internet this Aporo Pondsider. Wow! The location is really beautiful, the owner was so kind and breakfast sublime! We really enjoy the stay.

We stayed at Aporo this past weekend as a base for the Wearable Art show. The units are very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished and equiped. Cooked breakfasts were delivered to our unit and were delicious and generous. The hosts are charming yet respected our privacy and they know the region intimately. We were pleased to be staying in this quiet... More
