Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This little hotel was perfect for our overnight stay in France. Very welcoming. The breakfast was good And beds comfortable. It was very quiet as I think we were The only people there!! We had no problem parking out The front. Nice little town for a morning stroll. The one problem with our stay was that wifi did not work. A maJor down point for my partner who missed The Grand Prix. I would stay here again as long as I didn't need Internet access.

Booked at last minute on route coming back from Spain arrived very late the hotel didn't have to stay up to let us in but thankful they did. Beds comfy needed after driving 15 hours I would say it would be ok for a cheap night in French port about 10 min drive to ferry.

We stopped here as a small group on our way to watch the world CX champs north in the Netherlands. What we got was a very clean and well presented little hotel, in the UK it would probably be called a Boutique hotel. Small but very clean and well decorated rooms, with a nice restaurant (which we only had breakfast in). The owners speak little English but that didn't matter. Highly recommend this hotel as a stop over on the way to or from the tunnel. You get more than you expect for the money.

Room was small and very very noisy from the street below. Car parking is minimal and you are likely to get in an argument with locals over car parks. There are better towns to stay in. This would have been our worst accommodation in France. Stairs upstairs are very narrow

Response from Sylvie_Fockeu, Gérant at Aux 3 Arcades

Bien cordialement.

Ideal for the ports, though you wouldn't think you we're that close to Calais in the quiet little village of Bourbourg and its eclectic French style. The hotel is basic, great value for money, clean, and the family are very welcoming- we will definitely stay there again. Restaurant closed for supper when we stayed, but great breakfast at only €6.50 each. Stay here - a really nice way to break the port journey.

We did not stay at the hotel, but we would if we were to come through the region again. The restaurant was just what we were after--varied menu with good regional fare, agreeable surroundings, and terrifically friendly hosts. Great dinner for the price.

Apart from the shower in the bathroom leaking through the wall, across the bedroom floor, this was an excellent place. The evening meal was good and the breakfast very good value. If you have time in the morning, do visit the "Le Choeur de Lumière" (Chapel of Light)" by Sir Anthony Caro, in the local Church. It brightened up a grey morning!

Typical small town Hotel and Restaurant. Four of us had an overnight stay - much better to stay here than an impersonal modern place on an industrial estate in Calais or Dunkirk! Good Clean Rooms - adequate facilities and a really good Buffet Breakfast at only 6 Euro. We would stop again. Restaurant is a typical Pizza/Grill and looks OK - but was closed on our visit. A bit difficult to find - look for Railway Station and keep on towards Centre Ville.

Kind, family run small hotel situated above a cosy breakfast room/cafe. Easy to find with satnav, but could be difficult at night with only a map as the town is very quiet and almost no one on the streets. Use the side door (which is on then adjoining street) for the hotel. Room 2 is simple but has everything including hairdryer. Bathroom light switch does not exist, so don't try looking for it (just open and close the door!). Wonderful freshly baked croissants and baguettes in cheap breakfast. If you have an early start and need provisions, the nearby butchers and patisserie are better than going to the supermarket.
