I was booked here as I had a last minute trip and had to be at an early morning meeting. I got some sleep but then the hotel courtesy shuttle service still managed to deliver me late to the meeting ! The hotel is well located near the terminal at aberdeen airport. I found the staff friendly and welcoming. Agree completely with the previous review. Sign on the entrance door tells you that you are entering a non smoking building, but they forget to tell you that it is also a non smiling establishment. Well known to oil-workers on-airport hotel. Reasonable rates and cheap parking. Pretty sullen staff, and ok rooms. Go for 'executive' rooms as they're a lot nicer. Restaurant ok, and rooms clean and efficient. The Thistle across the road is better but more expensive. Useless for visitors coming in, but good for overnight before early flight. more
