Just returned from a 4 night say at the Manathai, Surin Beach. Absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful, the pool just big enough to do some serious laps, quiet location and attention to detail by the staff was exceptional. Will be returning next year. more

MAJOR PROBLEMS - when checking out we were accused of stealing a bathrobe! After a long argument we insisted that we be allowed to inspect the room. Close enough to Patong to make nightlife accessible and far enough away to make sleeping well possible, Manathai is a three minute walk from Surin Beach which offers loads of restaurants and a more upscale version of cocktails on the beach (The Catch Bar is a true gem).... more
