My wife and I called for lunch on the 12th December and had a starter (prawn coctail) and main course of roast Turkey and all the trimmings finished by coffee. What a treat. Cost just over £12.50 each and the meal was well worth every penny. I was that full I could not manage sweet! Jim the owner welcomed us... More

The Torrs Warren is a perfect example of Scottish Hospitality. Myself and a group of four others spent 22 nights at the Torrs Warren on business. I travel internationally quit often and have always stayed in the big hotels. This was my first exposure to a smaller inn and the intimacy this setting can provide. By the end of the... More

We've eaten here loads of times before over a number of years. Previously the food has been wholesome, no-nonsense pub grub. Last few times have been a bit less fulfilling &, after our last visit, we wouldn't rush back. You’ll find the Torrs Warren Hotel at the end of a short drive around 400 yards from Stoneykirk village centre. Formally an old vicarage, the hotel has a lovely ambiance with lots of oak panelling combined with a large, very tastefully furnished conservatory restaurant. Whilst the rooms vary quite considerably in size (ours was the ‘wee front’ for example) they... More

Can't wait to pay this wonderful hotel another visit We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day break and Jim and his staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, which it always was. The food is out of this world, no-one could ever go home hungry! It has a lovely atmosphere and Jim has a great sense... More
