This was our 4th visit as a family to Poggio al Casone. I have traveled the world with my job from 1 to 5 stars so you get an idea of whats quality and what you should avoid. I have also traveled extensively with my family and never went back to the same place twice, until 3 years ago. This... More

This is my second stay at Poggio al Casone and I know it will not be my last! My first visit was with friends and this trip I brought my college grad neices and they absolutely loved it! You will feel at home in a beautiful and peaceful Tuscan setting. You may plan day trips to Pisa and Florence, use... More

We spent 3 nights at Poggio al Casone which was most certainly far too short. The resort is set in a secure development with breathtaking views overlooking the rolling vineyards. The resort consisted of a charming patio with relaxing seats and small table and chairs overlooking the views, relaxation room - equipped with a sauna and nice loungers to sit... More

We stayed in Poggio al casone for 5 days at the end of July 2010 with our 5 year old son. It is true that the entrance to the estate is quite impressive, through the vineyards and a beautiful pine tree road. Our appartment was very cosy and nicely decorated, right in front of the swimming pool. There was a... More

We stayed at this agritourismo resort during August 2010 and on first sight, it is a lovely spot, on the edges of Tuscany, not quite in the classic chianti region. It has an impressive, tree lined drive although not that easy to find from Pisa airport (road signs in Italy are not the most reliable). Our apartment was spacious, very... More

The resort is absolutely lovely and well kept. It has a nice atmosphere and enough privacy for each family. Apartments are spacious and well equipped, gardens and pool immaculate upkeep. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they really took care of us always with a smile. Perfect location in Tuscany, quite close to Pisa Internationl Airport and to main... More

We had an excellent stay and would have no hesitation recommending Poggio al Casone to friends & family. The location is perfect! Close to the seaside and to the historical Tuscan cities. The Estate is superb and the attention to details incredible. The staff'smile is as kind and beautiful as the roses on the property! More

We stayed in a 'cottage' on this beautiful vineyard about half an hours drive from Pisa Airport. The setting is breathtaking with fanastic views over the vineyards rolling countryside from all of the windows in our accomodation. Our cottage (Gli Ulivi)was very nicely decorated and furnished and we received a very generous welcome pack including a bottle of wine from... More
