Colan is a small - and very poor - village on the Northern coast of Peru, a few miles above the rather pretty port of Paita. Not only can it boast the oldest church on the Pacific coast of South America, it's about 500 meters from an absolutely gorgeous beach - miles of golden sands, with pretty much no one... More
