My wife, 17 month old daughter and I spent two nights here, one upon arrival to CR and the other on departure. The only reason we opted for this "hotel" is we got a deal two for one, so we ended up paying less than we would at one of the hotels close to the airport. I must say we... more

My wife and I (75 and 71) spent a marvelous week at the Finca Rosa Blanca. The architecture borrows heavily from Gaudi-white shaped plaster, native hardwoods, no squared-off symetrical rooms. There are separate villas and a main building for rooms. Dining and the bar are down the slope near the main gate. No TV or radios in the rooms. Non-smoking.... more

We have been to Costa Rica many times before. This beautiful inn ranks as one of the two best places we have stayed (along with Hotel Grano de Oro in San Jose). The rooms are spacious and very unique (we stayed in La Ventana). It is far enough from the action to be extremely relaxing. The grounds are terrific. The... more

The hotel is a little out of the way but amazing nonetheless. We flew into San Jose and I saw the usual Denny's and other American hotels and resturaunts and thought ohh no. We did get to Finca Rosa Blanca which is a very small hotel with 13 rooms and were very surprised at the quality and caring of the... more

My wife, 1 year old daughter, and I spent two nights at Finca Rosa October 2009 and loved it. Besides the obvious qualities, such as great rooms with character, excellent service, comfy beds, good food, the staff went WAY beyond expectations in making our stay perfect. When our car trunk broke, they took it into town to be fixed by... more

This hotel is charming and if you're interested in coffee, then I highly recommend a tour of the coffee plantation and a lesson on how coffee is made, as well as horseback riding through the coffee fields. It is conveniently located so you can tour the volcanoes, see the zip lines, go white water rafting and conveniently and easily transfer... more

I stayed at Finca Rosa Blanca because I went to San Jose for serious medical treatment. I have extreme allergies to many chemicals and the staff assured me that everything they use for building, cleaning and foods is as natural or as organic as possible. They went so far as to email me ingredients lists for their cleaners, and to... more

Finca Rosa was the most amazing place we stayed on our honeymoon. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful art, flowers, and wildlife all over. We stayed in the Rosa Blanca suite. It was magnificent! The bed was upstairs and had 270 degree views of the farms below. I was shocked at its simplistic beauty. The canopy bed was divine... more

I stayed here as a base for going to a few other locations around the country. I was initially looking for an inexpensive hotel near the airport, but this place was so much better! It ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The restaurant is fantastic, definitely eat there. Best gallo pinto I had in Costa Rica.... more
