“Unfriendly hostess”

The house is overall charming and has a big garden with a trampoline, and a swimming pool in front of a little cottage. However I regretted not going for some other place. I don't have high expectations on B&Bs in terms of facility, but friendliness of the host/hostess is very important, since you get to interact with him/her more than... More

“Good place for families”

As other reviews have mentioned, the one drawback of Prieuré La Chimère is the location of the bathrooms outside of the bedrooms, but each room does have its own private bathroom. This was a great "chambres d'hôte" for a family. The kids enjoyed the heated pool, yard, trampoline, and the toys in the play area. We enjoyed a dinner here... More

“A Most Unusual B&B”

Well, actually Prieure La Chimere is not a B&B as Americans understand it. It includes table d'hote, which means your hostess prepares an evening meal that you may share with other guests, for an additional fee.
