My husband and I stayed at Rama Guest House for 5 nights after stumbling upon it on our first night, and liked the central location that was steps away from Moon Muang street and very close to the Sunday market, as well as the garden courtyard. Our room on the second floor was basic, but adequate...lighting was poor, AC was... More

We spent 4 nights at Rama Guest house even though we only booked for 1 night. The rooms were clean and comfortable - the only complaint I had was the shower which had very low water pressure at times. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was central to everything. I would highly recommend it to fellow budvet... More

Lucky that we had reserved by phone in advance, cause Chiang Mai was booked out completely. We had a fanroom on the topfloor for 400THB. (no tv, as we were used to in other guesthouses of the same price) The room was ok, but we found out that the gh was directly next to a Wat, which meant being woken... More

We stayed here for two nights over New Years and it was great. The location is convenient, the rooms clean and the woman who work1s the front desk is really sweet and nice. Also the downstairs has a bar and a lush garden for lounging. Right across the street is a fantastic restaurant too My only gripe is that the... More

I was travelling alone to Thailand and spent a couple of days at other places before I found Rama. The location is amazing - on a quiet alley but one road from the busy Tai Pae gate and just down the road from the main drinking square. The people make the place. Noi speaks excellent English and French and is... More

We stayed here for 10 nights. The guesthouse is very well located, off moon muang just opposite to nice pubs and restaurants. There is a local fruit and veg market a mere 5 minutes away. We got an exceedingly good deal, 400 THB a night. Rooms are clean, shower hot and sunny. The reception staff helped us thoroughly. They made... More
