Not the best experience once can dream of. Room/sleep was ok, "surprise" dinner was somehow disappointing for the price (35 plus 12 for wines), nice park that rain did not allow us to explore, castle interior was cold and not so well and tastefully renovated.

We spent 2 days in this Château and enjoyed our stay. The suites are amazing and the surrounding park is lovely. We stayed here for 3 nights - room was huge, so was bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was the lovely food - 5 course "chef's" menu with a different wine for each course; it was excellent value too. Would definitely stay again if in the Loire Valley.
