This hotel is convenient to CDP, Gigondas, and many other great villages and wine producers in the Rhone Valley. Rooms are modern with a zen like approach to decor. Only knock is you have to go downstairs for WiFi. But the food here is absolutely amazing. This husband and wife team don't have any stars but it must be for... More

We had eaten several times before at the restaurant. Very good food, reminiscent of Raymond Blanc ( rather than local cuisine). Friendly, helpful staff and an interesting local wine list -with a helpful and informative sommelier. For the first time we stayed in the hotel. The rooms were very good, stylish ( French, of course) and quite large. We stayed... More

recently restored with high class and modern interiors, marvellously refurbished - a classfull mix of old and new, class a terrace underneath majestic trees, outstanding meals ( but unfortunately very pricy wines altough we are in the middle of a vinyards region... ) in a quiet surrounding, nice garden with pool, friendly and helpfull staff. We recommend it and would... More

We stayed at this place for many years and always enjoy the simple and friendly family atmosphere. As always the food and preparation is excellent and merits the Michelin Star. We love the atmosphere in the cozy court shaded by two majestic plane trees. In the past we did not hesitate to criticize shortcomings. So the real news is that... More

We stayed at Le Pré du Moulin for one night's stop-over and dinner in the restaurant. The welcome is polite and professional, without an attempt at being particularly amiable - a bit surprising for a family-run establishment. The ambiance of our superior room was wonderfully fresh, light and airy. Having said that, every single fixture that could have possibly been... More

The restaurant at Le Pre du Moulin is worth a detour but the hotel is disappointing. The rooms are old-fashioned and somewhat shabby, although clean, and the common areas, which have recently been refurbished, are dark and depressing (shades of dark grey predominate). The rooms are to be refurbished this year and the prices doubled. Some people may like the... More

Hotel: The hotel is nicely located in the heart of the Provence near the city of Orange. The first thing you notice is a beautiful installed garden and patio with tables offering the possibility having dinner outside. Reservation via Internet was easy and a very friendly welcome letter was sent. We were friendly welcomed at the hotel. The (Standard!) room... More

Ideal place to enjoy the summer operas at the Chorégies d'Orange or Avignon or for travellling around Provence to see the beautiful scenery, quaint villages and the stunning lavender, sunflower and wheat fields. The food is outstanding and is getting better every year. The shaded court, where the meals are served in summer, is very romantic, candles on the tables... More

This part of Provence is stunningly beautiful, and we are not commenting on that. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent too. However, the portrayal of the hotel on its website is a slight triumph of marketing over reality: our room was large, with an outer sitting area that had an unattractive table, a sofabed pushed up into one corner,...
