My wife and I stayed in this B&B several years ago and would love to return. The setting was perfect - in beautiful countryside near the Welsh border and several picturesque “black and white” villages. Broxwood Court was a large manor house that was too expensive to maintain and was demolished in the 1950’s. The scope and beauty of the existing gardens give you an idea of how magnificent the manor must have been. The current accommodations are in the house which was built with stone from the manor and outbuildings that weren’t demolished. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint was the shower didn’t do a good job of containing water resulting in a wet floor. Hopefully this is no longer the case. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. The gardens were a highlight of our stay. It’s obvious the hosts spend a lot of time maintaining them.
