This is the place to stay while you are in Ireland. I stayed here few times and it was a always a great experience. Food is excellent, scenery is stunning and hospitality at its peak. I would strongly suggest spending time here. You will be at home.

In october 2011, me and my boyfriend stayed in this B&B for two weeks. The house is incredible, the views to the sea are ver nice, the rooms are very comfortable and Mike and Julia, the owners, are just amazing. You can also eat there, and I highly recomend it, because they are very good cookers. It is one of... More

I stayed here with my husband in Sept 2011 when we attended a wedding in nearby Blairs Cove. I was 8.5 months pregnant at the time, so this was our "babymoon" of sorts - we were very happy with our choice of B&B. The location is pretty far out but as I was driving it was not an issue. The... More

You would find it hard to get better value than Carbery. From the moment you arrive you feel welcome. Julie gave us a pot of tea and homemade brownie, told us to make ourselves at home which we did. Having had a. Good lunch we had bought tapas in Schull so we picnicked in the sunny front garden. Following a... More

Where to start? The hospitality, the view, the breakfasts - all quite outstanding. If you fancy a sailing trip, Mike and the boat owner can take you out for a day or half-day trip. Arundel's restaurant is nearby - unassuming premises but great fish. Go there!

We returned yesterday from a weeks stay in Julia and Mike's rental cottage, which is next door to the main house. We brought our little dog Rusty with us. All 3 of us had a great stay, we couldn't fault it. The house is small but has everything. The view from the patio is spectacular, we ate breakfasts and some... More

Lovely B&B in the beautiful Sheep's Head Peninsula. All rooms have sea views. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The owners Mike & Julia were welcoming and gave lots of advice on the local area. The B&B is pet friendly so you can bring your dog. Rooms are comfortable - much nicer and better value than a hotel. Durrus is a... More
