This is near a city so there is a different feel this park compared to more rural spots. It had smaller pitches and there was more queuing for showers etc. However, we found reception staff helpful. we stayed in a motor home in the park for one night, the park is well situauted near to Wellington, but there is not much else near by. the facitiltes in the park were ok, obviuosly well used, we did not use the barbecue as the drains nearby were being dug up

This is a good park, it is slightly more like a car park rather than the more rural sites we have been to. There are newer and older shower blocks so do investigate to get the best ones. My two young daughters and I stayed here recently before leaving for the morning ferry. We found the amenities ok, although certainly not the best Top 10 I have been to. We stayed in a 4 berth kitchen cabin. They were clean and comfortable. A few suggestions I would make would include rails on the top bunks for smaller kids.... More
