Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Little Ants all over the floors. We had to put our bags up on top of the desk and wardrobe. There were hairs in the sheets that were not ours.blood stains on pillows. The walls are so thin you can hear everything going on next door including someone using the bathroom next door. We slept in our clothes and left first thing in the morning. It’s not the safest looking area either.

We arrived a little early but it was ok to park the car ,which saved us some money in parking. Returning after an afternoon on the beach we were given our key and shown the breakfast area. Yes the room are a bit basic but we were happy as we had aircon, a balcony, and a sea view. The room was clean and had an on suite, all we needed. We dined here al fresco and were very impressed with the service and the gorgeous food we had. The grilled fish was fabulous. A great meal at a good price. The breakfast was included which was a bonus. Such great value for parking , breakfast and a room. The only complaint was the fire alarm going off at 6am (I was thankful it wasn't earlier). We were the only people to evacuate and wait outside. Eventually it stopped and we returned to our room, we didn't see any members of staff and was questioned by other guests, who managed to get to the stairs. On checking out we asked the lady on reception what had occurred but she had no knowledge of the alarm. Nevermind, they let us park the car there for the day and we spent it on Armas beautiful beaches. All in all a good choice as the staff could speak our language and it served our purpose nicely.

Throughout this area parking is at a premium and the chain across the entrance make parking at Hotel Solidago a little secure. There were posts to which to lock a motorcycle. The room and bathroom had adequate furniture and both were clean. Decoration was a bit faded. Bed was comfortable. There is a lift to each floor. Reception is not 24 hour. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good despite few rooms being occupied. The restaurant was closed, which was not clear when booking, but there were a few choices of eateries within walking distance. Sat nav was needed to find Hotel Solidago in a backstreet but once there it was an easy walk to marina, seafront and restaurants.

On our first night in Italy we arrived at 9pm on a Saturday evening and were delighted to find the restaurant open. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were made to feel very welcome. All the dishes were excellent; especially the waiter's recommended seafood antipasti platter. Great value for money too. The standard of the hotel room was basic but as expected and fine for an overnight stay. There was very convenient parking. Our overall excellent experience was only let done by the poor standard of the service and food at breakfast.

My husband and I live in the south of France and were driving to Turin, sadly we didn't make it. Our car broke down and with the help of the Automobile shop guys, they got us a late reservation at Hotel Solidago. The staff were VERY helpful, assisting with cancelations with our other hotel in Turin and what we needed to do (they helped with the translation from Italian to English! Thank you !!!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for one night during our car journey across Europe in October. The rooms were ok, with everything we needed, however it was cold and there was no way of turning on the gas heater as nobody was at the reception to help. The main reason we choose this hotel was because of the buffet breakfast included. There were only two rooms occupied in the hotel at the time, so the girl in the reception explained to us during the check-in that we will have to go to the cafe next door with a voucher. Then next day when we went they gave us a coffee and a croissant and the barista didn't like when we asked for more!!!! They were very rude and there was no choice of food! Only croissants and brioches. Terrible. We left hungry and frustrated. When we complained to the girl of the reception she didn't even apologized. We still had to pay full price without buffet breakfast. Terrible experience. Terrible service. Never again.

This was easier to find than I expected, just head for the main street and there was the sign, down a small side road and into the free car park. The hotel looks rather uninviting from the outside, a simple four-square structure but that allows it to have rooms some of which have a large balcony overlooking the sea. Others have side balconies or windows which also afford a sea view. Reception was empty when we arrived but soon someone came and sorted our rooms out for us. We were asked if we needed any help getting around town or booking for dinner. We found the rooms large and straightforward but will all facilities. They are over several floors but there is a lift available. Breakfast is a self-service buffet and a bit 'cold' as the room is so large. 'Proper' coffees can be ordered from the bar.
